# Ducat Hall — official company collateral v1.0

Identity approved and adopted **9 September 2026**. Open **index.html** for the offline gallery. Finished default materials use the company name, descriptor, supporting line and **ducathall.com**, verified from the repository's demo configuration and status. The apex marketing launch and DNS have not been verified by this brand job. Email, phone, address, personal name and title are omitted.

## Masters and dimensions

- **business-card-front.svg / business-card-back.svg**: 91 × 61 mm artwork including 3 mm bleed; 85 × 55 mm finished trim. The separate business-card-proof.svg shows the trim and 5 mm internal safe area. Guide lines are absent from production artwork.
- **letterhead.svg**: blank A4, 210 × 297 mm. Suggested writing area x 22–188 mm and y 50–263 mm.
- **presentation-cover.svg**: 1920 × 1080, 16:9 company cover.
- **social-square.svg**: 1080 × 1080. **social-banner.svg**: 1584 × 396. These are chosen artwork sizes; check actual platform crops and overlays before publishing.
- Matching HTML previews preserve editable live SVG text and outlined logo paths. The portal/H geometry and wordmark are the official identity, with nested transforms retained correctly.
- **proofs/** contains rendered PNGs and a visual contact sheet. SVGs remain the editable master artwork.

## Email setup

**email-signature.eml** is a self-contained, unsent template with no recipients. It contains the table-based HTML signature, the actual official PNG as an inline CID attachment, and a plain-text fallback. It requires no external image host. Open or import the EML in a compatible mail client, then copy the rendered signature into the client's supported signature editor. The X-Unsent header identifies it as an unsent template; client support varies. Do not assume an imported inline image will survive a signature-editor copy: send a test message and verify desktop/mobile and images-off behavior. No message was sent while creating this artifact.

**email-signature-preview.html** is the polished offline browser preview. It loads the actual included PNG from ../identity/png/ducat-hall-horizontal-ink@2x.png. It does not use base64 images.

**email-signature.html** is the deployment template: table layout, inline styles and an image source placeholder **[PUBLIC_LOGO_URL]**. Before installation, host the included horizontal ink PNG at an approved public HTTPS URL and replace that exact token. Alternatively, use the email client’s supported inserted-image method. Copy the table into the signature editor and send a test message to check desktop/mobile and images-off behavior. Email delivery and client compatibility have not been established merely by rendering the browser preview.

The default signature identifies **Ducat Hall** and links to **https://ducathall.com**. Optional customization may add a verified [FULL_NAME], [ROLE], [EMAIL] or [PHONE]. Those are documentation tokens, not presumed company facts. Add mailto links only for verified mailboxes. Do not expose unresolved placeholders in finished communications.

## PNG exports and rebuilding

**png/** contains native 1080 × 1080 square, 1584 × 396 banner, and 1920 × 1080 presentation PNGs, plus 300 dpi card and A4 exports. Print PNGs include the artwork bleed; SVGs remain the vector production masters.

Run **source/build-collateral.py** with Python 3 to rebuild editable artwork, HTML and EML. Run **source/render-and-check-collateral.cjs** with Node.js, Sharp and Playwright to rebuild PNGs and validate previews. Install Playwright's Chromium, or set CHROME_EXECUTABLE to a supported installed browser. SHARP_MODULE and PLAYWRIGHT_MODULE may point to installed modules. The scripts resolve all package files relative to their own location.

## Editing and printing

The logo wordmark is outlined Times New Roman and does not require a font installation. Editable prose uses Inter/Arial, serif headlines use Georgia/Times New Roman, and short metadata uses JetBrains Mono/Courier New. Recheck spacing after substituting fonts or editing copy.

Print individual card, A4 or slide HTML sheets at 100% scale with browser headers and footers off and background graphics on. These are RGB SVG masters: the print supplier should convert to the required CMYK profile and confirm bleed, duplex alignment, stock and finishing before production. A physical color proof remains the printer’s production step.

Cobalt #2A6FE8 is the identity accent, paired with charcoal #101114 and mineral #E8E9EC. The new portal/H supplies decorative motifs. Semantic action-green remains a product-interface concern and is not used as the collateral brand color.

## Scope and provenance

Official identity approval does not approve a launch date, certify a product, establish company legal particulars or configure a purchased domain. No such claims are present in the artwork. The collateral adapts the earlier layout family to the approved identity; no prior proposal master was overwritten. The silver sculptural source is maintained elsewhere in the full brand package; failed background-removal renders are excluded.

Asset manifests use relative paths. See qa.json for checks actually performed and source/build-collateral.py for reproducible authoring.

For a tight signature proof, run source/capture-signature.cjs with the same Node dependencies and browser settings. It captures only the rendered table at 2x into proofs/email-signature-lockup.png; the full browser proof remains available.
