How the calculation works

Current annual spend = the sum of the subscriptions you enter. Per-seat monthly prices × paid seats × 12; monthly totals × 12; annual totals are used as entered.

Ongoing annual spend = subscriptions you keep + annual operating costs. Upfront investment = the platform purchase + other one-time costs. First-year savings = current annual spend − ongoing annual spend − upfront investment.

Three-year cost = 3 × ongoing annual spend + upfront investment. Three-year savings = 3 × current annual spend − three-year cost. The purchase is counted once. Prices, scope and usage are held constant; this is not a discounted cash-flow calculation.

Simple payback divides the upfront investment by positive annual ongoing savings and multiplies by 12. It assumes savings start immediately and accrue evenly; actual renewal dates, implementation time and payment timing can change payback. No payback is shown when ongoing savings are zero or negative.

All values are USD, before taxes. Published rates are starting estimates; enter invoice prices to reflect discounts, negotiated plans, minimum seat bundles, add-ons and actual billing terms. Missing or invalid values prevent a completed savings comparison.

Retirement is your assumption, subject to the agreed Ducat Hall scope and a validated migration. The calculator does not promise feature parity or that every selected subscription can be cancelled. It excludes staff productivity savings and sunk onboarding fees. Include expected support or upgrade costs in your scenario if applicable.
